Guidance Counselor

Hague Primary & Infant School requires a Guidance Counselor (clear vacancy).

Qualifications

• At least a BSc. in Guidance and Counselling as well as a Diploma in Education from an accredited institution.
• At least two (2) years experience as a practitioner in the field
• In-depth knowledge of counselling assessment tools and Behaviour Intervention Standards and Strategies

Requirements

• Able to conduct individual and group counselling sessions
• Knowledgeable of relelvant social agencies and the ability to liaison with these agencies
• Must be highly self-motivated
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have a dynamic approach and be able to inspire and work with team members
• Able to initiate and participate in the development and delivery of programmes and interventions of the department based on needs identified
